Do you sometimes feel like you're traveling through life on autopilot, going through the motions, and having every day pass like the one before it? No matter where you are in your life, try to always remember that everyday is a gift.

Whether you're stressed out with work or going through a difficult time, here's a little reminder to not dwell on the negative but rather do what makes  you happy and enjoy your life to the absolute fullest.

1. Be Grateful. - Today, take some time to be grateful for what you have, for those who love you, and who care for you. Sometimes we unintentionally forget to appreciate our amazing family and friends as well as what we have in life. Be grateful and truly appreciate what you have - you'll find that you have more of it to live.

2. Make time to have fun. - Sometimes we need to take a few steps back to see things clearly. Never let your life become so filled with work, your mind become so crammed with worry, or your heart become so jammed with anger, that there's no room left to have fun or to be inspired and happy.

3. Enjoy the little things. - There is absolute joy and wonder to be had in the simplest of moments. Watching the sunset over the horizon or spending time with family and friends.

4. Embrace change. - The hardest part about growing is letting go and facing change. Sometimes you have to stop worrying and wondering "What if?," and have faith that everything always works out. Laugh at the confusion, live consciously in the  moment, and enjoy your life as it unfolds.

5. Listen to your Heart. - Life is a courageous journey. Choose to listen to yourself, and not those around you by doing what you know in your heart is right for YOU. It's your road, and yours alone. Others may walk it with you, but no one can walk it for you. Good days give you happiness, bad days give you experience, and the worst days give you the best lessons.
