Daydreaming in Belize

Belize was truly picture perfect. Every year, I try my best to set aside a few days for a summer getaway - I like to think we all deserve a mini vacation mid-year! Belize has been on my travel wishlist for some time now, so on a whim, we booked a ticket and found a beautiful resort on Hopkins Bay (one of the best private beaches in Belize!) where we escaped to a city that I've been dreaming of exploring.

From the moment we landed onto Belize to the last day tanning on the beach, my entire vacation was incredible. Although our stay was short, we managed to hike to a waterfall, kayaked along the beach, go scuba diving in the Caribbean, rented golf carts to drive into the village, and even partied with locals and amazing people we met along the way, all within 5 days.

There's without a doubt many things to do and see in Belize, but my favorite experience and a must-do would be to go scuba diving and to snorkel the reef. It's truly unBELIZEable and you'll immediately fall in love with the country!
